We must say good morning to Jesus Christ by our words, deeds and thoughts if we have or intend to have a worthy relationship with him. We must do so within the confines of our free will without any compulsion. Our rights of freedom of thought, conscience, association, and of speech must not in any way be constrained but as shall be for our eternal good.

We recommend Jesus to you for a guaranteed worthy relationship that lasts eternity for many reasons. Jesus said in John 8: 38 I speak of what I have seen with my Father, and you do what you have heard from your Father. Paul also says in Philippians 4: 9 what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, do; and the God of peace will be with you.

Why we must accept Jesus Christ

For the supposition argument, we want to ask a rhetoric question. In the very likely event that after this life in death Jesus is found to exist and reigning, will it not be too late for us to ask for his pardon? Will it not be too foolish to have rejected him when we had all the opportunities to be courteous to him in reverence? Luke 16: 29, 31 say let them hear the prophets for if they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be convinced if one should rise from the dead.

Irreversible nature of life

There is only one life and after that judgment, Hebrews 9: 27. We cannot reverse life or relive it. The grace of God is only available to us in this life and not after.  Hebrews 10:31 says it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Why not avoid this unnecessary and unhelpful confrontation with God when the sad end for us is inevitable?

Antagonizing our only judge

It is most imprudent or silly to confront a judge who presides on our case. Even an unrighteous judge favours those who are familiar with him how much more the just judge, Luke 18: 4-6. Jesus is the righteous judge, Acts 17: 31. Paul affirms this fact in expectation in 2 Timothy 4: 8. Jesus will be our judge in righteousness and will make war with the antichrist, Revelation 19: 11.

Biblical revelation

Philippians 4: 3 says that we must have our names written in the book of life. Every qualified soul for life will have his name written in the book of life, Revelation 3: 5. Anyone whose name is not written in the book of life will be rejected or behold the beast, Revelation 20: 15. The book of life belongs to the Lamb (Jesus Christ) that was slain, Revelation 13: 8, 21: 27. We must have our names written in the Lamb’s book of life and belong to him.

Simplicity of Jesus Christ

We do not require any money to reach Christ Jesus. Everything about him is freely given. He is accessible from the heart to both rich and poor, Jew and Gentile, male and female. He can be reached anywhere without any funfair but a sober reflection, a simple acknowledgment and confession of sin, with a humble and contrite heart, Psalms 51: 17. We do not lose anything if we try Jesus if he is not real. However we lose everything if upon his rejection we find him upon death to be real. Jesus said in Matthew 11: 30 for my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Jesus’ stature squabble

Jesus is the saviour of the world. Luke 2: 11 says to you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord. Acts 5: 31 says God exalted Jesus at his right hand as Leader and Saviour, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. John 1: 16-17 say and from his fullness have we all received, grace upon grace; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Romans 5: 20 says where sin increased, grace abounded all the more. Jesus Christ is the light of the world, John 8: 12; 9: 5. Jesus’ power makes us perfect when we are weak, 2 Corinthians 12: 9. Jesus is our hope in eternity for Matthew 12: 21 says in his name will the Gentiles hope. 1 Corinthians 16: 7 also says for if this life only we have hoped in Christ, we are of all men most to be pitied.

Blood covenant relevance

It is only Jesus whose blood can wash away our sins and the same is recognized by God. Jesus’ blood is the new covenant, Luke 22: 20. Jesus’ blood has competently made us ministers of the new covenant, 2 Corinthians 3: 6. His blood has rendered the first covenant obsolete, Hebrews 8: 13. Jesus is the mediator of a new covenant, Hebrews 9: 15; 12: 24. It is therefore risky to despise him.

Evidence advocates

There are countless compelling evidence why me must recognize Jesus. He performed many miracles and deeds through feeding, healing, exorcising the afflicted, raising the dead,  comforting the poor and rejected, rising from the dead, ascending to heaven, availing his blood as a new covenant for all manner of sins, and living a life without sin though he was tempted, Hebrews 4: 15

The wisdom theorists

Such people have proven that Jesus’ wisdom surpassed all generations because he is the giver of wisdom. Matthew 12: 42 says with reference to wisdom, and behold, something greater than Solomon is here. Luke 2: 40, 52 say Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature, and in favour with God and man. We can ignore Jesus only when we lack wisdom. Because of Jesus’ wisdom, he is also our advocate, 1 John 2: 1. He has also given us the Holy Spirit to be our counselor, John 14: 16, 26; 15:26; 16: 7.

Saying good morning to Jesus Christ is the most prudent thing to do every morning and throughout the day. It will not kill you but enhance your spirit. The Lord Jesus Christ expects your felicitations and greetings from this moment forward without fail.

Prayer

Good morning Lord Jesus, we welcome you into our lives, our homes and destinies. Be our friend from now, the future and in eternity. Take your place in everything about us as our unfailing friend. In your holy name we pray, Amen!!
